The City of Lynchburg cut the ribbon on their new police department facility on June 27, 2025.

As the provider of Construction Management services, Downey & Scott is proud to have supported the City of Lynchburg on this transformative $50 million, 96,000-square-foot project.  The new facility brings together vital law enforcement services under one roof and features a real-time crime center, modern forensics lab, wellness space, secured parking, and the beautifully designed Honor Garden, which includes 50-year time capsule and meaningful memorial.

 The project was designed by Architect Design Group and Dominion 7 Architects and constructed by English Construction with support from local subcontractors.
