Downey & Scott performed cost estimating services for the new 20,000 SF South Police Station, estimated at $15.2M. The facility features a 5,000 SF state-of-the-art K-9 training center, special operations and emergency response spaces, training and conference rooms, administrative offices, and garage bays.

Recognizing the demanding nature of law enforcement careers, the design incorporates purposeful wellness amenities to support staff health and well-being. As designed, the station serves not only as a police facility but as the community’s own South Station featuring pedestrian-friendly sidewalks and well-lit areas that enhance the developing neighborhood while maintaining necessary security measures.
