Downey & Scott provides staff augmentation services to Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC), where our Project Managers, Certified Energy Managers, Project Coordinators, Interior Designers, and Code Inspectors are currently embedded within the college’s facilities team. Our staff help drive forward the College’s current $550M capital and non-capital programs. From inception through design, procurement, construction and close out; this arrangement allows NVCC to expand its project management capacity during peak program periods without the delays or costs of hiring additional full-time staff. Our professionals provide immediate expertise and accountability while integrating seamlessly into NVCC’s existing processes and staff; helping the college keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Through this partnership, our staff have supported a wide range of initiatives at NVCC over the past four years. Our embedded staff bring both flexibility and continuity, ensuring NVCC’s program goals and projects are achieved efficiently and effectively.

In addition to staff augmentation, Downey & Scott also provides cost estimating and value engineering services to NVCC and other Virginia Community College System institutions.
