As the Marketing & Proposal Manager, you will lead the firm’s marketing and proposal efforts within the A/E/C industry. This position operates in a high-volume, deadline driven environment where competing priorities and fast paced government solicitation schedules are the norm.

 

Primary responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle of proposal development for federal, state, and local government pursuits; coordinating cross-functional teams; developing pursuit strategies; and ensuring timely, complaint, and high-quality submissions. In addition, you will oversee digital and traditional marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and support long term growth objectivities.

 

Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines, proactive communication, and the leadership necessary to keep teams aligned and accountable in a fast-paced environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Lead the full lifecycle development and submission of A/E/C credential packages and proposals for government solicitations, including teaming arrangements with A/E partners and prime pursuits for our Cost Estimating and Construction Management teams.

 

  • Manage the preparation of shortlist interview presentations, including drafting content, designing PowerPoint slides, coordinating internal review sessions, and supporting rehearsal strategy.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project managers to gather accurate project data, resumes and technical content.

  • Maintain and continuously improve the firm’s proposal content library, including proposal templates, case studies, project descriptions, and marketing material.

  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media engagement, and website content.

  • Lead the management of the company's social media platforms, monitoring engagement and driving brand awareness.

  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing strategic insights and recommendations for optimization.

  • Develop marketing collateral and pursuit materials, including brochures, print materials, and branded marketing assets.

  • Plan and coordinate industry-related events, including trade shows and conferences

  • Proactively identify industry award opportunities and lead the development of compelling project award submissions.

  • Support additional marketing and business development initiatives as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in proposal writing and government solicitation processes within the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop complaint and competitive proposals that position the firm to be awarded contracts

  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.

  • Familiarity with construction management terminology and industry-specific marketing practices.
