The City of Fredericksburg Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade and Expansion project is underway and progressing as planned. This $180 million investment will deliver Enhanced Nutrient Removal and increase plant capacity from 4.5 to 6.0 million gallons per day (mgd). The project aims to reduce nitrogen and phosphorus discharges into the Rappahannock River. Downey & Scott serves as Owner’s Representative and Construction Manager for this significant infrastructure initiative.
